Asbury Church Planting Fellowship

We are excited to announce the launch of Asbury Seminary’s Church Planting Fellowship in order to form a collaborative partnership with women and men who are engaging in new, innovative approaches to church planting and fresh expressions in the 21st century. In 2018, we will select up to ten church planters within their first three years of planting to receive funding and be a part of our inaugural fellows program. As a fellow, you will be a part of a one-year cohort with 10 church planters, receive grant funding of up to $10,000, enjoy free resources, participate in regular coaching calls, and attend an annual retreat focused on leadership and spiritual formation.

To qualify, applicants must:

  1. Be no more than three years into the launching of a new church.
  2. Complete the initial application below and return a completed strategic plan by February 21st (you will receive the strategic plan template when you complete the online application).
  3. Take our free online Church Planter Assessment found at churchplantingeq.com.
  4. Attend the March 8-9 training event (featuring Alan Hirsch and members of our Church Planting Team) on our Wilmore Campus and present a 20-minute summary of your church’s strategic plan at this event.
  5. Following this event, our team will select this year’s ten Fellows who will then receive grants of up $10,000 and embark on this one-year learning process together.
